424 – Painting Believable Light

What makes a painting ‘glow’? What is the glowing quality that appears in the work of many master painters? To communicate a feeling of believable light in a painting, artists must make certain decisions early in the painting process. This class includes a comprehensive exploration of the ‘glow factor’. Topics will include texture, transparency, color and discussions about the creative process challenges. For intermediate and advanced painters.
