420B Painting Water – Creating Volume in Water

This workshop will focus on representing volume in water including ocean waves. How to create depth and dimension in water can be particularly challenging and, in this session, we will utilize color choice, light reflection, horizon line and perspective to help build a rolling surf. Image references will be available although students are encouraged to bring their own images as well. Students will provide their own materials. A suggested materials list for acrylics may be provided for those who are interested. All levels are welcome. This workshop can be taken as a Part 2 to 420a or on its own.
