410 – Introduction to Shibori
In this hands-on class, you’ll learn the Japanese art of Shibori, a form of resist dyeing that creates beautiful patterns on fabric. No experience is necessary – just bring your creativity and a willingness to get your hands dirty! During the workshop, you’ll explore different Shibori techniques to create unique designs. You’ll also experiment with indigo dye to bring your creations to life. By the end of the class, you’ll have a collection of one-of-a-kind Shibori pieces to take home. $40 materials fee payable to instructor.
