353 Exploring Ceramics
For the beginning to intermediate clay student, this course will introduce students to the techniques of coil, pinch, slab, wheel, and combinations of these techniques. Functional and non-functional pieces will be created, glazed, and fired. Texture, form, and surface treatment will be covered as part of the one-on-one instruction, reinforced by demonstrations of technique and process. Course fee includes 50 lbs of select clay.
