345 Continuing Solarplates
Exposing, developing and printing SOLAR PLATES will be the focus of this class utilizing 2, 3, and 4 plate printing to create color overlays while maintaining easy plate registration. Students will learn how to enhance a print utilizing relief and intaglio techniques. Students will have an opportunity to experiment and learn how to expand their knowledge of a variety of printmaking techniques, which includes a selection of papers which may enhance and effect the final image. This course is intended for those who have current printmaking experience. Early registration and ordering of solar plates is encouraged. Solar plates are not included in the class fee and Rives BFK is available for sale. All other materials will be provided.
