345 Continuing Solarplate

Exposing, developing, and printing SOLAR PLATES will be the focus of this class utilizing 2, 3, and 4 plate printing to create color overlays while maintaining easy plate registration. Students will learn how to enhance a print utilizing relief and intaglio techniques. Students will have an opportunity to experiment and learn how to expand their knowledge of an endless variety of printmaking techniques, which includes choice and selection of papers which may enhance and effect the final image., early registration, and early ordering. This course is intended for those who have current printmaking experience. Both early registration and ordering of solar plates is encouraged. Solar plates are not included in the class fee and Rives BFK is available for sale. All other materials will be provided. No class January 15th or February 19th.
