328 The Painting Experience – Acrylic and Oil
Experience different painting genres – still life, landscape, and portraiture – while advancing your painting and drawing skills and developing your ability to see like an artist. Each week we will paint in the studio, using a specific subject as a point of departure; still life arrangements, from floral arrangements to multiple objects, will be set up to explore the dynamics of drawing, value and color coordination. Demonstrations will be tailored to the participant’s interests and needs. Instruction and assistance will be individualized. The intent will be to advance your painting methods, and to guide you to painting with renewed confidence and engagement. Acrylic paints are preferred, though oil paint is acceptable. This is a class for beginner and intermediate students.
