We will look at plants, trees, blossoms, foliage and gardens as a starting point for our drawings/collages/paintings. The focus will be application of paint, how you use painting tools to bring the paint to the canvas or striate. We will examine the forms and colors that appear in the emerging plants that blossom/bloom around us in the spring. You may identify the areas of drawing/painting you want to further explore and have to do so in this individualized class. Painting experience is helpful. Oil paint will be our main medium, used with safe practices.
