325 Explorations in Abstractions: Structures & Strategies
This course explores foundational structures as they relate to abstract painting. From one point perspective to the “Modernist Grid,” the use of underlying structures has been a key element in traditional and contemporary art. In this class, we will explore the connections between these various systems with a focus on discovery and personal interpretation. Aspects of color theory will also be discussed as part of project development. No Class February 22.
