322 Exploring Plein Aire Painting
Explore and capture the joy of summer experiencing the depth of color at Wompatuck Park, or the bright light of Basson Beach and more. An earlier start to our day promises cooler starts before the afternoon heat of the summer months. This course is focused on the fundamentals of this method of spontaneous on-site landscape painting. Plein Aire locations will be selected from the towns of Cohasset, Hingham and Scituate. Students will learn about the experssive possibilities of atmospheric perspective through the use of color and light values as an important concept of the ‘plein aire’ experience.
