320 Painting Experience

Experience different painting genres – still life, landscape, and portraiture – while advancing your painting and drawing skills and developing your ability to see like an artist. Each week we will paint in the studio using a specific subject as a point of departure: still life arrangements from floral arrangements to multiple objects. The class is designed to explore the dynamics of drawing, value and color coordination. Demonstrations will be tailored to the participant’s interests and needs. Instruction and assistance will be individualized. The intent will be to advance your painting methods and to guide you to paining with renewed confidence and engagement. Both acrylic and oil paint are the norm of this class experience. This class is for beginner and intermediate students.
