315 Beyond Demystified Watercolor
This class is designed for intermediate level students who wish to build on their introductory experience in a challenging studio environment. The emphasis will be on approaching the medium in a simplified, but more advanced manner. The class will be organized around concepts of value, sketching and preparatory studies, observation, shape and color, and composition. Visual elements and principles related to the latter will be discussed at the appropriate time, as students will be encouraged to explore and challenge themselves in a comfortable studio environment beyond the basic challenges of the medium.
