310 Watercolor: Botanical Beginnings
In this four-week class, students will practice the fundamentals of botanical illustration as we sharpen our observation, drawing, and painting skills. Through demonstration and instructor guidance, you’ll learn methods to accurately sketch your subject, mix luminous color, and employ basic watercolor techniques to create a colorful representation of your subjects. Whether you are interested in nature journaling or botanical art, this approachable course will provide artistic inspiration for the upcoming seasons. Prior watercolor experience is helpful.
