In this fun, creative pottery class, kids will learn the basics of working with clay through hand building and a beginner-friendly introduction to the pottery wheel. Students will pinch, coil, shape, and decorate and glaze their sculptural and functional clay pieces, then take a turn at the wheel with guidance from the instructor. Perfect for young artists who enjoy hands-on making, this class encourages creativity, focus, experimentation, and self-expression in a playful, supportive studio setting.
No prior clay experience is needed—just curiosity and a willingness to get a little messy! While the class follows a curriculum, students with previous experience may work more independently on projects of their choice.
