139 Let’s Get Our Hands in Clay! (Grades 3-5)
Enjoy continuous creativity as we focus on hand-building with ceramic clay …a wonderful medium that encourages a natural, relaxing and tactile form of experimentation and expression. Pinch pots, slab work, coil projects, sculpting, glazing techniques and more. We’ll make sculptural and functional pieces – fantasy and realism. We’ll explore a variety of theme-based projects, including nature, children’s literature and pop culture as inspiration for this ultimate form of 3D art. No class February 20th.
