We will explore a variety of materials, including graphite pencils, charcoal, colored pencils and tonal black watercolor washes.

Artists will practice both copying and interpreting images and photographs, as well as drawing from life objects, the human figure, and landscape (weather permitting). Throughout the course, students will gain confidence, stregthen their observational skills and begin to develop their own unique artistic voice. This class fosters both technical skill and creative expression in a supportive, fun environment. Be ready to surprise yourself!
