Rental Information
South Shore Art Center’s galleries and front gardens offer a creative setting that blends small town charm with the vitality of contemporary art for your special event. From birthday celebrations, bar and bat mitzvahs, reunions, concerts, staff retreats, rehearsal dinners, wedding ceremonies, cocktail receptions, seated dinners, bereavements, lectures and more.
Located in the center of seaside Cohasset, Massachusetts, South Shore Art Center offers an accessible and diverse space, a fully-equipped kitchen and audio-visual capabilities.
Availability
The Art Center is open six days a week, all year long as a leading arts education center for the entire South Shore community. Classes in the studios are often in the evening. Generally, private evening events may not start set up until after 4pm and must conclude at 11pm.
BANCROFT GALLERY
Features a 24′ ceiling with dramatic skylights and professional exhibitions which provide an elegant and refined atmosphere for any kind of event.

Staffing
South Shore Art Center determines staffing according to your needs. Requests to move artwork must be made through the office.
Facility rental fees are reduced for nonprofit organizations. Please inquire directly.

Celebrate at the South Shore Art Center

Two hours for use with an art activity for your child for 12 children
Art activity can be tailored to the interest of the birthday child
$10 per additional child up to 15 total.
Call to check availability [Weekends, 11am –1pm; 1pm – 3pm] and reserve your spot.
Please arrive 20–30 minutes before time to set-up your decorations.
