Bancroft Gallery
The Bancroft Gallery is the centerpiece of the South Shore Art Center: Designed by architect Vcevold Strekalovsky, the gallery’s trapezoidal floor plan and soaring ceiling create intriguing visual planes and sight-lines. Donated by Jessie Bancroft Cox to honor her parents, the Bancroft Gallery is recognized as one of the outstanding exhibition spaces in the greater Boston area.
